Application

Digital Auto Burst Strength Tester is used to determine the bursting strength and distension at burst of woven, knitted and non woven fabrics, papers and boards by the application of hydraulic loading under a rubber diaphragm.

The intelligent control algorithm gives accurate control of the burst time. Manual or automatic mode. Windows based software could analyze the test results and print, easy to operate. Different test areas can be accommodated allowing testing to corresponding standards.

Maintenance Information

1.Daily Maintenance

After each test, clean the clamping device and diaphragm with a lint-free cloth to remove fabric debris.

Check the hydraulic liquid level; top up with glycerin-distilled water mixture (85:15) if low.

2.Regular Maintenance (Every 3 Months)

Calibrate the pressure sensor using a standard pressure gauge to ensure measurement accuracy.

Inspect the diaphragm for cracks/wear; replace if elasticity decreases (affects test results).

Lubricate the clamping device’s moving parts with light machine oil to ensure smooth operation.

3.Annual Maintenance

Check the hydraulic system for leaks; replace seals/hoses if necessary.

Verify the software’s data analysis function (reinstall testing software if there are calculation errors).

4.Troubleshooting

If pressure increases abnormally: Check the pressure control valve and clean the hydraulic pipeline.

If the diaphragm bursts frequently: Ensure the correct thickness (0.8/1.2mm) is used for the test fabric.
